Tim Fisher has 24 years of experience in the investigation, design and construction of water based environmentally focussed and civil infrastructure development projects. Mr. Fisher has led teams for investigation design and construction of many complex water projects including wetland projects, retarding basins, sewage treatment and re-use systems, water harvesting projects, pollutant minimisation projects, EPA approvals and other more traditional civil projects.

Mr Fisher spent 4 years with the Dandenong Valley Authority as a designer working on Drainage Schemes and their components for Trunk Drainage systems. He was team leader of a range of environmentally focused projects including sewage treatment, flood attenuation, pollution control and water re-use. He has also spent 5 years with local government undertaking road and urban design, 8 years with other consultants as a Senior and Principal Engineer initiating and leading design teams in many environmental and water based projects. He has also spent three years in the construction industry.

During those 24 years Tim has delivered many wastewater and stormwater treatment works. This work involved the design of not only stormwater and or wastewater treatment but also water re-cycling systems with the key objectives being to:

•  reduce waste; and

•  reduce potable water usage.

Tim has delivered many projects from concept to commissioning, often providing the concept design phase with leading edge design and innovation. Some examples of this include the wastewater treatment and water re-use system adopted for the Commonwealth Games Village, High Quality Greywater harvesting and treatment, the submerged low exit velocity system for retarding basin and wetland outlets, and the litter capture technology in the Clevertek litter trap system.
